- Membership is available to educational institutions, government organizations, hospitals, and other health related institutions.
- Affiliation with IVIMEDS is through organizations (not individuals) and can be in one of two categories. Both require an annual fee:

* Subscriber
- The Member category (currently £15,000 for one year or £25,000 for two years) provides full access to our repository, full access to Riverside authoring tools, full access to authored cases, full voting rights, collaboration around software and learning object development, and profit sharing.
- Current members are prepared to work with health science schools from developing countries in areas related to curriculum, assessment, use of technology to track learning / competencies, and other areas that allow the expansion of education to improve health care delivery.
- Members work together to develop teaching tools, peer review and quality enhancement, and development projects.
- IVIMEDS provides faculty development training, seminars, and consultations for member schools.
- Subscribers (currently £7,000 per annum) have access to the vast learning repository and access to Riverside authoring tools but not access to members' cases and tools.
